London

The project comprised of the refurbishment of a property in Montagu Square including renovations and reconfigurations to the lower ground floor, ground, first, second, third and loft floors.  The existing loft was replaced with a traditional rear mansard roof with a dummy mansard to the front.  The non-original rear side return was demolished.  Internal arrangements of the Mews were reconfigured and the front renovated.  The rear Mews façade was redesigned.

Modern fixtures and fittings, furniture, roof lights, fireplace, chimney pieces relocated or replaced with historically appropriate versions.  Lift replacement and new underfloor heating.  Secondary glazing and a new stairwell installed to access the loft floor.
